ABOUT JUSTIN ZUBROD
Justin Zubrod is Managing Partner of Justin Zubrod & Company, LLC, a privately-held advisory firm focused on the transportation and logistics sectors and located in Winnetka, Illinois. The firm is a group of experienced professionals from management consulting, industry, and investment banking that provide analysis, advice, and expert witness counsel to operators, investors, suppliers, and legal counsel in the areas of trucking, rail, air cargo, parcel, and logistics services.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Mr. Zubrod has been a leader in transportation consulting for almost three decades. He was the Transportation Commercial Practice Leader at Booz & Company, Booz Allen & Hamilton, and A.T. Kearney. In those roles, he led consulting teams in North and South America, Asia, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
His client work has ranged from strategy and operations improvement to organization enhancement, and has included a number of functional areas from marketing to operations, to procurement. Mr. Zubrod is widely known for his privatization efforts in New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Canada.

Over his career, Mr. Zubrod has also served as expert witness in commercial litigation, regulatory reviews, and administrative law proceedings covering rail, trucking, and express courier services.
Prior to entering the consulting industry, Mr. Zubrod worked for United Airlines in flight operations, and the Consolidated Rail Corporation in marketing and governmental affairs. He also spent several years in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Railway Association.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Mr. Zubrod has held several outside director positions for closely-held companies. They include Kenan Advantage (largest U.S. tank truck operator), the BusBank (leading internet-based bus charter company) and GCS, LLC (a transportation investment partnership).
He is Chairman of the Business Advisory Council at the Transportation Center at Northwestern University, where he also teaches an executive program in freight and logistics. He is also a member of the American Trucking Association (ATA), Transportation Productivity (CTP), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), DRI ~ The Voice of the Defense Bar (DRI), National Industrial Transportation League (NITL), National Tank Truck Carrier Conference (NTTC), and the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA).
Mr. Zubrod is on the Advisory Board of Big Shoulders of Chicago, Misericordia Homes of Chicago, and Catholic Charities of Chicago.
EDUCATION
Mr. Zubrod earned his under graduate degree from The University of Maryland (College Park, Maryland), and an MBA from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois). He has completed the Directors College at Stanford Law School (Stanford, California), and the Negotiating Program at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame University.
